Plans and limits
Every OceanResume account is on a plan. The plan decides two things: which features you can use, and your limits, meaning how many of something you can have. To see what each plan includes, open the pricing page.
Features
Section titled “Features”A feature is something a plan either includes or does not, such as premium templates, premium Folios, custom themes or advanced analytics.
When you open something your plan does not include, the dashboard shows This feature is part of a higher plan and nothing is changed.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”There are two kinds of limit.
Counts are how many of something you can hold at one time:
- public profiles
- subdomains
- custom domains
A count goes up when you create a profile, claim a subdomain or add a custom domain. It goes down again when you delete the profile, release the subdomain or remove the domain.
Allowances are credits that are used up and then refill, such as Captain credits. The usage bar shows how many days are left until the allowance resets.
When you reach a limit, the dashboard shows You’ve hit a plan limit with how many you have used, and the new item is not created.
See your plan and usage
Section titled “See your plan and usage”In the dashboard:
- The bottom of the sidebar shows your name with your plan under it.
- Profile Usage, above your name, shows how many profiles you hold out of the number your plan allows.
For everything else:
- Select Billing & Plan in the sidebar. Your OceanResume subscription opens on the InteOcean account site in a new tab.
- Read Plan features for the features your plan includes.
- Read Usage & quotas for each limit. Every bar shows what you have used, what your plan allows and what remains.
You can reach the same screen from Subscriptions on the account site.
If you hold more than your plan allows
Section titled “If you hold more than your plan allows”Your plan can change to one with a lower limit. Nothing you made is deleted. For profiles, this is what happens:
- Your most recently updated profiles stay open, up to the number your plan allows.
- The others show a Locked badge on the dashboard. A locked profile cannot be opened or edited. It can only be deleted.
- Profile Usage shows how many profiles you hold and how many are locked.
To unlock a profile, delete one you no longer need. The most recently updated locked profile then opens again.
